Outrigger Hospitality Group recently unveiled the Outrigger Waikiki Paradise Hotel, a newly reimagined and rebranded hotel in Waikiki. Formerly known as the Ohana Waikiki East, the hotel has 443 guestrooms and suites, which have all been renovated.

The name, Paradise Hotel, pays homage to Paradise Garden, which was the name of Princess Kaiulani's Waikiki estate.

"As our second craft property, Outrigger Waikiki Paradise Hotel blends Hawaii's vibrant cultural heritage with modern energy through local art and artisans," Sean Dee, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Outrigger Hospitality Groups, said in a news release. "Our thoughtful design honors the deep history of this place, also paying tribute to Queen Emma — whose legacy of compassion and leadership continues to inspire and uplift Native Hawaiians and the broader community alike."

Aside from the rooms, the pool has been remodeled to include a "Come Be Here" mural, and the fitness center has been modernized. Dining options include Appetito Craft Pizza & Wine Bar, Tanaka of Tokyo and Hawaiian Aroma Caffe.

"From the intricate mural in the pool to the floral tributes to Princess Kaiulani's beloved pikake flower, every element of the hotel exudes the spirit of modern Hawaiian culture," the news release said.
