The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach has appointed Katherine Gioia as senior sales manager.
Gioia is responsible for growing the resort's overall group segment and travel trade in the Northeast, Midwest, Oceania and European territories. When the resort's new Diamond Head Tower opens in the fall, the property will have a total of 552 ocean-view accommodations, as well as multiple events and meetings spaces.
"Katherine brings a wealth of global luxury sales experience to our resort, having traveled around the world and serviced some of the world's most discerning diplomats and clients," Sandy Narvaez, director of sales and marketing, said in a statement.
Gioia comes to the new position with a decade of luxury hospitality sales experience, most recently serving as senior sales manager for groups at the Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown. She also previously worked as the leisure sales manager at Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa, and as sales and public relations coordinator at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach opened in 2016 with the debut of the Ewa Tower with 307 residences, an infinity pool, three restaurants and the Ritz-Carlton Spa.
