The Royal Lahaina Resorts & Bungalows reopened in September with two new culinary venues, Lahaina Noon and Pineapple Moon.

Pineapple Moon is the resort's new open-air poolside bar, serving light bites and cocktails, while Lahaina Noon is an oceanfront restaurant. Lahaina Noon offers breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner in front of Kaanapali Beach. The dinner menu includes local flavors, such as mochi-crusted mahi mahi, huli huli jidori chicken and crispy Kurobuta pork chop.

"The name Lahaina Noon pays homage to a natural phenomenon where the sun sits directly overhead, casting no shadow -- a symbol of perfect harmony between earth and sky," the news release said. "This sense of balance is echoed in the restaurant's philosophy of delivering nourishment and joy through its curated culinary offerings."

Walk-ins are welcome but reservations can be made on OpenTable or at www.royallahaina.com/lahaina-noon.
