The Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki & Golf Club has named Charles Abbott general manager.
Abbott worked most recently as a regional vice president for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, overseeing 31 hotels in Southeast Asia.

A 35-year Starwood veteran, Abbott held general manager and senior operational roles at a number of the company's international properties, including the Sheraton and St. Regis in Macau, the St. Regis in Shanghai and the Westin Chosun Beach in Korea.
The 541-room Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki is undergoing a renovation to all of its guestrooms and lobby that is scheduled to wrap up in the spring.
