Tulum's renowned El Pez hotel has opened two luxury rooms directly on the beach. The rooms sit just steps from the Caribbean Sea and feature private garden courtyards complete with heatable plunge pools and outdoor showers.
The air-conditioned rooms feature king beds and sofas, a lounge areas and bathrooms with double vanities. The design showcases a mix of Mayan stone, polished cement, tropical woods, natural Mexican handwoven fabrics and textiles and a retro tropical look. The rooms don't have TVs, instead offering large sliding glass doors and lounge areas from which to enjoy nature.
