In celebration of the hotel's second birthday, Hacienda Xcanatun by Angsana is readying to show off a major expansion, which will debut in July. Expansion and renovations will include additional rooms and new recreational areas.
The upgrade includes 36 new suites, designed with wood, leather and limestone materials. Recreational areas will include a solarium and pool with 32 loungers, 14 Balinese beds, a lounge and four outdoor showers. A new snack bar will have capacity for 50 diners and eight seats at the bar.
Additional features will be a new fitness center, a naturally integrated lily pond and newly designed tropical gardens.
