Karisma eyes March opening for Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun

Reservations are being taken for the Margaritaville Island Reserve by Karisma Riviera Cancun, set to open this March. Margaritaville's first all-inclusive resort represents a complete conversion of the former Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya by Karisma.

Margaritaville Island Reserve by Karisma Riviera Cancun will have four pools, four restaurants, six specialty bars and an 8,000-square-foot St. Somewhere Spa by Karisma. The 148 guestrooms will be spread across nine categories, with oceanfront or swim-up options. All accommodations will have balconies with Adirondack chairs or daybeds. Every room will also have a complimentary customizable in-room bar experience.

Dining options will include Caribbean cuisine, fine Italian dining, casual tacos and swim-up bars. Families can enjoy the Parakeets Kid's Club, with daily activities for kids 4 through 12, including cooking classes, mad lab experiments, pinata making and more.

Introductory rates start at $200 per person, per night, based on double occupancy for stays April 18-June 30, 2020 when booked by Dec. 10, plus a $150 resort credit.
