Mexico's Velas Resorts recently announced a partnership with Sky Sports golf commentator and former pro golfer John E. Morgan. Morgan will start his residency at Grand Velas Los Cabos from January 25-29. He will do a second week at Grand Velas Riviera Maya from February 1-5.
The residency was designed for golf enthusiasts of all levels and agents to practice their skills or learn the sport from scratch. Activities include group classes and one-on-one sessions for adults and kids. Plus, there will be Beat the Pro sessions during which guests are invited to try to hit a drive closer to the hole than Morgan. Finally, a "Sun-Downer Swing Challenge" includes sundowner cocktails to toast the winner. At both resorts, Morgan will host a dinner for participants, as well.
The golf experience at Grand Velas Los Cabos is priced from $5,890 based on a three-night stay for two in an Ambassador Suite and one workshop with Morgan for one adult. Roundtrip transfers are also included too and from the golf course. At Grand Velas Riviera Maya the experience starts at $3,124 based on a three-night stay for two in a Zen Pool Suite with one workshop with Morgan for one adult.
