Velas Resorts reopened five of its six properties June 15.
The reopened resorts are the Grand Velas Los Cabos, Grand Velas Riviera Maya, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, the Mar del Cabo in Baja California Sur and Velas Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta.
Velas has not finalized a reopening date for Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta.
The company's "Stay Safe With Velas" protocols include sanitizing mats and booths, touchless hand sanitizer dispensers and increased cleaning and sanitation. In addition, Velas' mobile app offers guests a concierge chat function, restaurant and spa menus and pre-registration for fitness classes and other resort activities.
