In an effort to make African safaris accessible to more families, responsible travel company Jumbari Family Safaris has announced it is launching an interest-free Safari Payment Plan. The plan allows travelers to pay off their family vacation in interest-free monthly installments prior to their departure date.
"Jumbari Family Safaris strives to make Africa more accessible for family travelers. The Safari Payment Plan makes traveling all the more affordable, and we hope it will encourage families to discover Africa's unique destinations in 2020," said Lisa Nel, general manager of Jumbari Family Safaris.
The process is simple: After a down payment, the traveler's payment plan will be activated. All payments are done through an automated secure platform, or travelers can pay for their safari via an online credit card, which includes a 2.5% service charge. Split payment options are possible for groups traveling together.
This payment plan will enable families to save up for trips such as the newly launched Jumbari Family Safaris 10-day South Africa Cheetah Safari for Families. Curated for travelers looking to experience a more purposeful safari, this itinerary will educate families on the unique role that this Africa's most endangered Big Cat plays in the ecosystem.
"Africa's cheetah population has consistently dropped since the 1900s, when the population stood at over 100,000. With humans as the cheetah's biggest threat today, there are only 10,000 cheetahs left. We were inspired to curate this itinerary to educate and pass on our knowledge to younger generations on the importance of preserving our environment and Africa's wildlife," said Nel.
Jumbari Family Safaris hopes this trip will bring awareness to the plight of the cheetah and teach travelers and their children how they can save this species for future generations.
Prices start from $13,071 for two people sharing. For more information, visit Jumbari.com/.
