Refurbishments to the accommodations, which are expected to start next November, will add day beds on private verandas.

AndBeyond is offering guests a third night free at Bateleur Camp in Kenya's Masai Mara while it is undergoing a massive refurbishment over the next 15 months.

The refurbishments will see changes to the guest tents, including built-in day beds on private verandas as well as open-air, stone courtyards next to the bathroom. The tents will also include butler hatches that allow for more intimate and discrete service.

The camp will further see the addition of two swimming pools as well as a new fitness center. A new Safari Shop will provide a wide selection of locally sourced handicrafts for sale, and guest areas will be expanded to include a coffee bar that will convert into a gin bar by night.

As part of the refit, the guest areas at North Camp are closed, while six guest tents at South Camp remain open until Jan. 7, 2018. The entire camp will be closed from then until Feb. 28, 2018, with North Camp scheduled to reopen on March 1, 2018. The refurbishment of the entire camp will be completed by June 1, 2018.

Travelers who spend three nights at the South Camp tents through their closing will only pay for two nights, enjoying a discount of 33%.
