Lufthansa's low-cost carrier EuroWings will enter the South African market by launching a new route from Cologne/Bonn, Germany, to Cape Town beginning Nov. 5.

A Eurowings Airbus A330 will fly the long-haul route to South Africa every Sunday, departing from Germany at 3 p.m. to arrive in Cape Town at 3:10 a.m. the next morning. Return flights leave Cape Town on Mondays at 4:40 a.m. to arrive in Cologne at 4:45 p.m. the same day.
