The Tanzania-based Mwiba Lodge has introduced an experience that enables travelers to spend a night under star-studded skies in a luxurious, temporary "fly camp" set up on the escarpment of the Rift Valley, overlooking Lake Eyasi.
There are a variety of locations that will be used for the fly camps depending on the time of the year and prevailing winds. Travelers will arrive on foot or via 44 vehicle as the sun is going down. Dinner is served on location with time to enjoy the nighttime experience next to a cozy campfire. A qualified guide will accompany travelers to ensure their safety at all times.
