Gatorland, located in south Orlando, has opened a new animal exhibit featuring more than 50-plus baby alligators all born and raised in the park. This is an area where the baby gators will live and grow until they are about 18 months old.
"We are excited to offer this unique opportunity for the public to observe baby alligators up close, as they grow and thrive," said Mark McHugh, president and CEO of Gatorland, in a press release.
There is a complete team of dedicated individuals tasked with caring for the baby alligators.
The 110-acre "natural Florida" theme park will also open several other new attractions in early fall, including an off-road adventure that will take guests into a never-before-seen area of the park that feeds into the Everglades headwaters.
Gatorland originally opened to the public as a roadside attraction in 1949, and now hosts thousands of visitors from all over the globe each year.
