Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) has expanded skiing and riding to an area called Teo 2, located just beyond the current Teocalli Bowl.
Teo 2, accessible via the High Lift T-Bar, brings an additional 40 acres of extreme skiing terrain to CBMR.
The area is the site of proposed future lift and terrain expansion, pending permit approval of its 2013 Master Development Plan with the U.S. Forest Service.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to open Teo 2 to the public,” said Ethan Mueller, president of CBMR. “But we are also excited to ski it with all the powder that has been sitting back there waiting for us all season long.”
