Poker has a new home on the Las Vegas Strip. In late May, Encore opened the doors to a 8,600-square-foot destination dedicated to the card game with a wide range of amenities to keep players happily betting and bluffing.

The new poker room includes 28 tables with USB charging docks, a sports book window, 35 televisions playing the day's games and a menu of snacks pulled from property restaurants Wazuzu and Jardin. There are also restrooms within the new space and a dedicated area for high-limit play.

Located just off the casino floor, the poker room is across from multi-use gaming lounge Encore Players Club, which also launched earlier this year, and close to Encore Beach Club, creating a nexus of attractions clustered in close proximity. However, it's also the second poker room on the resort campus, joining the original at Wynn, which is continuing to operate over the summer for tournaments before the space becomes part of the Wynn Plaza development.
