Gloria and Emilio Estefan have announced plans to bring their Estefan Kitchen restaurant to the Sunset Walk dining, shopping and entertainment district at Margaritaville Orlando later this year.

This location of Estefan Kitchen will be the first outside of Miami and will bring the flavors and music of Cuba and the Estefans’ Miami Sound Machine to the Margaritaville Resort. The restaurant will turn into a nightclub in the evenings, featuring Latin music and live performances by local and international artists.

“Estefan Kitchen at Sunset Walk will be our fifth full-service restaurant that will reflect the casual elegance of our Miami Design District location but with a style and soul of its own,” said Gloria Estefan during an event at Sunset Walk. “Our menu, cocktails, music and vibe will offer a re-imagined taste of our culture to Central Florida and all of its national and international visitors. We are truly excited to open our doors this fall.”

This announcement comes on the heels of the news of Bongo’s Cuban Cafe, another Estefan-owned restaurant venture, closing at Disney Springs.
