Fireworks will return to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif., this summer for the first time since the pandemic shut down the parks in March 2020.

In Florida, fireworks will return on July 1. The show "Happily Ever After" will come to the Magic Kingdom Park, featuring lights, projections and pyrotechnics around Cinderella Castle. "Epcot Forever," with fireworks, music and lighting, will return to Epcot over World Showcase Lagoon.

In Disneyland, fireworks will return July 4 with "Mickey's Mix Magic." The show features projections, lighting and lasers in Disneyland on Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle and the facade of It's a Small World.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, fireworks have been part of the Disney Parks experience since 1957.
