The world's largest electronics show lost power on Wednesday.

Parts of the Las Vegas Convention Center were plunged into darkness during the second day of CES 2018. The power went out at around 11:15 Pacific time.

The Consumer Technology Association, which runs CES, said on Twitter: "There is an isolated power outage at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We are working hard to resolve this and appreciate your patience."

The lights in the main hall started to come back on at about 1 p.m.

Organizers expected some 170,000 attendees at this year's show.
