"Bat Out of Hell -- The Musical" is coming to Paris Las Vegas on Sept. 27.
Described as being part "Rocky Horror Picture Show," part "Romeo and Juliet," the rock musical weaves Meat Loaf's greatest hits, penned by Jim Steinman, into a story of star-crossed lovers in a post-apocalyptic Manhattan (now named Obsidian).
Iconic songs from Meat Loaf's "Bat Out of Hell" albums, including "You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night)," and "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" as well as a previously unreleased song, are performed in the production.
The show is dedicated to the memory of Steinman, who died in April 2021, and Meat Loaf, who died in January.
"Bat Out of Hell -- The Musical" will be staged at 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and on Sundays and at 7 and 9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets BatOutOfHellVegas.com start at $49 (plus tax and fees).
