The national stage that Las Vegas was denied by the cancellation of the 2020 NFL Draft in April will come to fruition in 2021 with the league's decision to play the NFL Pro Bowl at Allegiant Stadium on Jan. 31.

The coronavirus pandemic canceled the 2020 NFL Draft on the Strip, but the league is committed to finding ways to embrace the city as it prepares for the Raiders' inaugural season in Las Vegas this fall. In addition to the Pro Bowl, the league's all-star game played the weekend before the Super Bowl, the NFL is giving the city another shot at the draft, announcing it will hold the 2022 event in Vegas.

The Pro Bowl game itself is the culmination of a week of fan-friendly activities. Also taking place are championship games of NFL Flag, the largest youth flag football league in the country; AFC and NFC Pro Bowl team practices; and, for the fifth consecutive year, the Pro Bowl Skills Showdown, in which players from the two conferences compete in skills tests.

Community and charity-focused events to benefit the Las Vegas community are also planned. Properties of Caesars Entertainment, the NFL's official casino sponsor, are also planning fan experiences during Pro Bowl week. More details will be announced later.

"The Raiders welcome the NFL Pro Bowl to Allegiant Stadium and to Las Vegas, the sports and entertainment capital of the world," Raiders president Marc Badain said. "Pro Bowl week is a celebration of the best the NFL has to offer, and there is no better place than Las Vegas to celebrate and honor the league's biggest stars."

The Pro Bowl has been played in Orlando for the past four years after being held in Hawaii for decades. ESPN, ABC and ESPN Deportes will broadcast the event.

Tickets will go on sale later this year. Fans interested in receiving the latest Pro Bowl information may register here at NFL.com/VegasPB for a chance to win a VIP trip and other presale opportunities.
