As Monte Carlo undergoes a mega makeover to become Park MGM and NoMad Hotel, the property isn't simply getting new rooms, new restaurants and a new outpost of Mario Batali's Eataly. Also under construction is a conference and meetings space designed to flex to meet the needs of a variety of groups.

The Park MGM conference and meetings center will encompass 77,000 square feet and will offer ballrooms, meetings rooms and a 4,345-square-foot outdoor terrace, which can be used as a private place to meet alfresco. The Executive Meeting Center will have 10 rooms intended for classroom training and workshops for groups of 10 to 50 people, and the Ideation Lab will include seven "labs" that incorporate advanced technology and nontraditional workspaces to "maximize productivity for small groups."

The conference center will also include a Stay Well area for meetings with features like special air filters, circadian lighting that simulates natural light and healthy menus approved by the Cleveland Clinic. One floor of the Park MGM hotel will also be branded under the Stay Well program with dawn simulation, air purifiers and natural memory foam mattresses.

The main conference space is expected to be completed this October with the Executive Meeting Center and Ideation Labs slated to debut in the first quarter of 2018.
