Fourth of July week in Panama City Beach will be packed with family-friendly happenings from fireworks to concerts at venues around the city.
The activities run from July 1 to 6 and begin with the Light Up the Bay fireworks display the evening of July 1 at the Sheraton Bay Point Resort. Other activities at the event include an aerialist performance and ukulele orchestra performance.
On July 3, the city's Grand Lagoon shopping, dining and entertainment district will host Freedom Rocks, a fireworks display above the Grand Lagoon Bridge. The show begins at 9 p.m.
A ceremony will be held on July 4 to honor veterans and their families at Aaron Bessant Park. Then, at 9 p.m., another fireworks display will set the night on fire with a dueling display from both the city (Russell-Fields) and county (M.B. Miller) piers.
The Real. Fun. Fourth Celebration concert series will bring a free concert from country band Tobacco Road to Aaron Bessant Park on July 5. Coolers, pets and food are welcome, and another fireworks display will follow the concert.
The 12th annual Beach Bash at the Boardwalk Beach Resort will be on July 6 and will feature seafood, live music and the largest private fireworks display in Panama City Beach, called Light Up the Gulf, starting at 8:30 p.m.
