Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming has closed the ski mountain until at least Monday, Feb. 13, because a windstorm on Feb. 7 shut down power to the resort's Teton Village.
Jackson Hole closed the mountain on Tuesday.
A storm with winds of up to 90 miles per hour blew down power poles on the area's Highway 390 and caused power outages throughout the region. Resort officials are requesting no public travel to Teton Village.
Jackson Hole has accumulated 403 inches of snow for this ski season -- including 29 inches during the past 48 hours -- compared to the 407 inches it received during all of the 2015-16 season.
Last season, the resort attracted more than 560,000 skier visits, the second most in the resort's history.
