Some classic creatures join the fright at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights

First the first time, the legendary monsters of Universal Pictures will haunt guests in new mazes at this year's Halloween Horror Nights event at Universal Studios Florida, starting Sept. 6 and running select nights through Nov. 2. The new Universal Monsters experience will feature Dracula, the Creature From the Black Lagoon, the Mummy and Frankenstein.

Guests will "come face to face with horror history" as they find themselves in Dracula's castle and the surrounding terror-filled forest as well as inside Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory being chased by his giant monster. They'll also walk through the ancient tomb of the Mummy and try to escape the Creature in his swampy lagoon.

Additionally, Universal Orlando has announced the return of the licensed Horrors of Blumhouse haunted maze, which is based on the Netflix series "Stranger Things," and a new original maze, Nightingales: Blood Pit, that draws its inspiration from ancient Roman arenas.

As an early-booking incentive, guests can purchase a one-night ticket to the event for $81.99 and get the second night free, through June 5.
