Universal Orlando Resort on Jan. 31 will debut a special effects, light and sound show for visitors to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter -- Hogsmeade area of its Islands of Adventure park. The show, called "The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle," will run selected nights throughout 2018.

The castle will be illuminated with the colors of the parks' four Hogwarts houses, and the show will be set to the scores from the "Harry Potter" films.

This is the second time Universal Orlando has hosted a projection-mapping show; the "Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle" show was featured during the 2017 holiday season.

The show is currently scheduled for Jan. 31, Feb. 5 and Feb. 7 to 12, with previews planned this weekend during the parks' three-day Celebration of Harry Potter fan event. But Universal says additional dates will be announced.
