AmaWaterways will launch a partnership with Mandarin Oriental next year, giving guests the option to book pre- and post-cruise land programs.

The river cruise line and the hospitality brand have developed an exclusive collection of luxury land experiences. The programs include personalized tours with a private guide and driver.

The luxury itineraries will debut in Barcelona, Geneva, Zurich, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Vienna and Amsterdam. The companies will add Budapest to the collection in 2027.

AmaWaterways CEO Catherine Powell said the partnership "brings together two brands that share a passion for delivering authentic, personalized luxury."

The two-night Vienna extension, available on the Gems of Southeast Europe itinerary, includes private tours of Vienna and Budapest, along with a traditional Viennese cooking class. Guests will stay at the Mandarin Oriental Vienna. Prices start at $2,760.

Passengers sailing the Colors of Provence itinerary can tack on three nights in Barcelona for $4,140. They will stay at the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona and have a privately guided program, bringing them to La Sagrada Familia and Montserrat Monastery. The experience also includes a tapas cooking lesson.

The four-night Lucerne and Zurich extension starts at $7,400. Guests on several Rhine itineraries can book this experience, which includes stays at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy in Zurich and the Mandarin Oriental Palace in Lucerne, cooking experiences and ascending to the summit of Mt. Rigi.
