American Queen Voyages has canceled several sailings in February.
The cruise line said it "encountered an occurrence that has led us to have to extend our layup schedule to ensure that we can deliver the best possible customer experience."
American Queen Voyages canceled the Feb. 26 cruise on the American Queen and the Feb. 22 and 25 cruises on the American Countess. The company added that impacted customers would be notified about next steps and refunds.
Pleasant Holidays, which stopped sales of the river cruise line in November, said it had seven bookings impacted by the canceled cruises.
The news comes weeks after Signature Travel Network suspended sales of American Queen Voyages over ongoing service issues, joining other trade organizations including AAA Travel, Virtuoso and, more recently, Travelsavers, that have paused or ended their partnerships with the company within the past year.
American Queen Voyages in January issued an apology, saying that it was committed to addressing the problems as quickly as possible.
Pleasant Holidays said it had hoped to resume sales of American Queen Voyages by the end of January, but CEO Jack Richards said progress hadn't been made as of Feb. 2.
