Beyond Cruises will offer barge sailings in Ireland
beginning in April.
The company said seven-day cruises on the River Shannon will
be aboard the 10-passenger Shannon Princess, which Beyond Cruises says is the
largest hotel barge on the river.
The itinerary includes the “Inner Lakes” of Lough Ree; a tour of the Kilbeggan Whiskey Distillery,
the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world; and a tour of Leap Castle,
reputed to be Ireland's most haunted
house.
Departures run from April through September, with prices
starting at $4,600 per person, double occupancy.
