In a move that plain makes sense, youth travel specialist Contiki is selling U by Uniworld's new river cruises for millennials.

Uniworld and Contiki are sister companies owned by The Travel Corporation.

Contiki customers can select from four U by Uniworld itineraries, all of which are eight days long: "The Seine Experience," "Germany's Finest," "The Danube Flow" and "Rolling on the Rhine."

The river cruises incorporate overnight stops or longer stays in Paris, Vienna, Amsterdam and Budapest. All trips include 14 meals, a welcome reception and some excursions.

"U by Uniworld is a more affordable step into river cruising, providing attainable luxury for Contiki's millennial traveler," the companies said in a release.

Contiki global CEO Casper Urhammer said the millennial market has shown a growing interest in river cruising.

The cruises are live on Contiki.com with prices starting from $1,839 per person.
