Emerald Cruises will introduce two new itineraries in Europe on the Rhine and Danube rivers for its 2024 season.
Both itineraries will take travelers on a deeper journey through the destinations visited along the rivers by focusing on more immersive activities, new onboard experiences and extended stays in select cities.
The 10-day Danube Explorer & Highlights of Budapest will explore more of the cultural and historical aspects of five central European countries, featuring a visit to a farm in Passau for a Bavarian brunch, a traditional Slovakian performance onboard, and dinner and a folklore show in Budapest.
The 11-day Rhine Castles & Moselle Vineyards will introduce two new ports of call in Utretcht and Nijmegen in the Netherlands that will feature a canal cruise through Dutch waterways and a visit to the Kinderdijk Windmills, a Unesco World Heritage site.
