Riviera River Cruises in spring 2020 will launch its 13th ship, the 169-passenger Geoffrey Chaucer.

The new vessel will operate on the Danube, Main and Rhine rivers as well as the Dutch waterways. It will feature two restaurants: a main venue and The Bistro, a smaller restaurant on the ship’s stem that will have an open kitchen and panorama windows that allow for al fresco dining.

Other amenities include a panoramic observation lounge, fitness center, spa, salon, boutique and sun deck.

Each of the ship’s 88 suites will be a minimum of 172 square feet. Its Diamond and Ruby Deck suites will have floor-to-ceiling sliding-glass windows. Deluxe Balcony Suites on the Diamond Deck will have floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors that open onto a small private balcony.
