With social distancing top of mind in the Covid-19 era, Riviera River Cruises is promoting its solo traveler itineraries for 2021.

The company said it will offer eight sailings in Europe next year that offer all cabins and suites on a ship for one-person occupancy without having to pay a single supplement. It had seven scheduled this year and hopes to still sail six of them, the company said.

"Our solo traveler cruises are always popular, and we anticipate that will only continue as we return to Europe's rivers," said Marilyn Conroy, Riviera River Cruises' executive vice president for sales and marketing in North America.

"Because everyone on board is solo, social distancing comes naturally," Conroy added. "These cruises can even be a great way for groups to travel, from friends who want their own cabins to groups affiliated with an organization. If you have a client or group looking for a cruise with solo accommodations, we encourage you to think of Riviera first."

Cruise itineraries with dedicated solo traveler departures available in 2021 include sailings on the Rhine, the Rhine and Moselle, the Danube, Rhone and Seine rivers.
