Tour operator Trafalgar announced its 2027 river cruise itineraries, following the sales success for its inaugural season of Europe river cruising.
As in 2026, Trafalgar will have two ships in 2027: the Trafalgar Verity and Trafalgar Reverie. The ships were chartered from sister company Uniworld, for which they sailed as the River Queen and River Princess. Trafalgar revealed in October that a new ship is coming in 2028.
Trafalgar's second season will feature land extensions in Lucerne, Switzerland; Prague, Czech Republic; and Budapest, Hungary.
Trafalgar vice president of river cruises Damien O'Connor said advisors can get a head start on planning their clients' trips, "taking advantage of seasonal incentives while offering guests Trafalgar's signature land experiences."
Best of the Rhine & Amsterdam will include additional time in Lucerne, while Best of the Danube will include a stay in Prague. Travelers can also do optional pre- or post-cruise stays in Lucerne or Budapest.
Trafalgar will bring back Christmas market sailings in 2027.
