Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is continuing to expand beyond the water.

The company Friday said that it will begin offering luxury train trips on the Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian Express from Moscow to Vladivostok, Russia, in 2022.

At the same time, Uniworld said it is adding more Cruise & Rail itineraries in Europe.

The company next year will launch its first river-rail trips in Italy and Switzerland in combination with some of its sailings on the Venice-based S.S. La Venezia. In 2022, it will also offer river-rail options through Hungary, Italy, Turkey, Romania, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Bulgaria.

On the trans-Siberian train trip, a Uniworld rep will be present throughout, and the train will have a dedicated Uniword dining car. Departure dates are July 27, August 6 and August 21 and include a one-night hotel stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Moscow and the five-star Lotte Hotel Vladivostok.

"Uniworld is excited to be expanding into a new style of travel while continuing to offer the same unforgettable experiences that are exclusive to Uniworld," Ellen Bettridge, its president and CEO, said in a statement. "We're looking ahead to 2022 and the unique ways we can provide our guests with the best travel opportunities to fully immerse themselves in remarkable experiences."
