Alaska Airlines and Icelandair will expand their codeshare agreement to include Icelandair flights from Reykjavik to Europe.

The carriers have not yet specified which European destinations will be included in the codeshare expansion and have not provided the expansion start date.

The expanded agreement follows Alaska's recent announcement that it will begin summer-only daily service between Seattle and Reykjavik on May 28.

At present, Alaska and Icelandair codeshare on Icelandair flights between Reykjavik and Seattle and Portland as well as on some Alaska flights out of those cities.

The airlines will also add more Alaska Airlines flight on the West Coast and elsewhere to their codeshare arrangement.
