American Airlines has reopened its International First Class Lounge at London Heathrow, ending a three-year closure that began with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the closure, the lounge has undergone what American is labeling a "cosmetic refresh," including updated fixtures and the installation of a fully fire-rated kitchen. New capacity in the kitchen has provided space for the lounge's kitchen team to offer a wide-ranging buffet alongside an a la carte menu.

The Heathrow International First Class Lounge is located in the airport's Terminal H. It's open to from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily to first-class customers flying that day on American or another Oneworld alliance carrier. Emerald status members of Oneworld can use the lounge when flying domestically on a same-day Oneworld flight.

The lounge has space for 120 guests.
