Delta will eliminate flights between New York and Tokyo Narita on Oct. 26, according to Routes Online.

Japanese carriers ANA and JAL will continue to fly the route.

Delta also plans to drop service between Los Angeles and Narita on Oct. 29.

The decision follows the DOT’s July 20 tentative decision to award Delta a daily landing slot for Minneapolis service to Tokyo’s larger and more convenient airport, Haneda. The flight could begin as soon as Oct. 30.

Though Delta won’t fly to Narita from Los Angeles anymore, it will continue its service between Los Angeles and Haneda.

Delta also plans to end service between Narita and Bangkok and Osaka, effective Oct. 29 and Oct. 30, respectively.
