Frontier is launching new flights to the Caribbean and Latin America

Frontier Airlines has announced seven new routes to Latin America and the Caribbean this summer.

From Miami the discount carrier will serve St. Maarten, Nassau and San Jose, Costa Rica. From Orlando, Frontier will fly to St Maarten and San Jose. From San Juan, the airline will serve St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. And from Dallas-Fort Worth, Frontier will be flying to Cancun.

Launch dates for the routes range from June 10 through July 10. Frequencies range from weekly to four times per week.

The announcements came as Frontier launched twice-weekly Miami-San Salvador service on Thursday.

Meanwhile, JetBlue began serving Guatemala City on Thursday, flying there daily from New York JFK.
