Hawaiian Airlines to add premium economy in A330 overhaul

Hawaiian Airlines' fleet of two dozen Airbus A330 aircraft will be retrofitted to accommodate the carrier's first premium economy cabin.

New interiors will also have updated lie-flat seats in business class and upgraded seats in the main cabin.

Parent company Alaska Air Group did not provide a timeline for the retrofits, but said it will be making a substantial investment "over the next few years," and that Airbus 330 widebody planes will remain dedicated to Hawaii flying.
