India's Jet Airways and Virgin Atlantic have extended their
codeshare partnership on flights from London Heathrow to the U.S.
Beginning Wednesday, Jet Airways passengers flying from
India can connect on one itinerary with Virgin Atlantic routes between London
and Atlanta, Boston, Newark, Washington Dulles, New York Kennedy, Los Angeles,
Miami, San Francisco and Seattle.
The deal builds on the existing codeshare between the two
carriers, which applies to several Jet Airways flights between London and
India.
Jet Airways also codeshares with Delta on flights between
London and 20 Indian destinations. Delta is a 49% owner of Virgin Atlantic.
