Tango to begin service to Florida in December

MONTREAL -- Air Canada's Tango is bringing its low-fare, all e-ticket, "all extras are optional" service across the border in mid-December.

That's when Tango will launch seasonal, nonstop flights on A320 aircraft between Fort Lauderdale and Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City, as well as nonstop service between Orlando and Montreal.

Fares on the new service will run as low as $87 for Fort Lauderdale-Ottawa and $106 for the other routes. The in-flight "optional extras" include payments for hot and cold snacks and refreshments, audio entertainment and advance seat selection.

Tango also will offer daily connecting flights from Orlando to St. John's, Newfoundland, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
