Dollar Rent A Car has launched a new
loyalty program specifically for travel agents. Under the Dollar
Dividends program, which is free to join, member travel agents earn
points each time they book a Dollar car rental for their clients.
For instance, a
three- to four-day rental equals one point, five to six days equals
two points and seven or more equals five points.
Once agents earn 25
points, they will receive a branded, personalized American Express
reward card.
In addition to
earning cash on car rentals they are already booking, agents will
love [Dollar Dividends] because, unlike our competitors, their
point balance and cash rewards will be updated every day, said
Scarlete Pelfrey, director of travel industry sales in a statement.
Once the card is earned, Dollar will provide instant gratification
with this great re-loadable AmEx reward card that grows daily with
every completed rental. The more agents book Dollar, the more
dollars get loaded on to their AmEx card.
To enroll in Dollar
Dividends, agents log on to Dollars Web site, www.travelagent.dollar.com, and click on the Dividends
link. Once agents have completed the enrollment process, they will
receive a personal identification number, which can be used to book
qualified Dividends reservations, track earnings and change their
enrollment profile.
