The McCarran Rent-A-Car Center has opened
its doors. Situated on 68 acres about three miles south of McCarran
International Airport, the $166.8 million facility includes a
three-story, 111,000-square-foot customer service building and a
1.8 million-square-foot parking garage capable of accommodating
more than 5,000 vehicles.
The Rent-A-Car
Center is expected to make travel easier for visitors to Las Vegas:
Roads to the center were improved to accommodate heavier traffic
loads, and travelers flying on participating airlines can check
their bags at the facility up to 12 hours prior to their
flight.
Rental car
companies based in the center include Advantage/US, Alamo, Avis,
Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Payless, Savmor and
Thrifty.
