National Car Rental has expanded its Toll Pass program to more markets.

Introduced in Newark, the program has expanded to Chicago, Houston, Boston, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Rochester, Syracuse and New York City.

New York City locations include LaGuardia and JFK airports, as well as six rental offices in Manhattan.

Through the Toll Pass program, renters use an electronic payment system to bypass cash lanes on toll roads. Renters add a per-day fee, plus the cost of tolls, to their rental agreement.

The program is also available through National’s sister company, Alamo.

After completion of the rental, renters are charged separately for any tolls they incur.
