Less than two weeks
after Direct Travel announced its acquisition of Colpitts World Travel, the
company has bought Traveline Travel Services, a
Cleveland-area travel management company.
Traveline’s focus is on
corporate travel, but it also operates vacation and cruise travel
centers.
Traveline has been family-owned for 50 years, according to Direct Travel. Its
annual sales are over $60 million.
“This acquisition shows
our clear intent to continue our aggressive pursuit with growth opportunities
and acquisitions that benefit our clients by strengthening our position as a
leader in corporate travel well into the future,” Direct Travel CEO Ed Adams
said in a statement.
