Abercrombie & Kent is bringing its A&K Sanctuary collection to the U.S., announcing plans for a resort in Moab, Utah.

Slated to open in 2027, the resort will be located near the entrance of the Arches and Canyonlands national parks, offering accommodations for 40 guests across a mix of one- and two-bedroom standalone suites.

The property will feature a central lodge as well as wellness facilities and access to private trails.

According to A&K, there's demand for luxury accommodations near national parks in America's West.

The expansion follows the company's brand refresh last December, when A&K changed the name of Sanctuary Retreats to A&K Sanctuary.

The A&K Sanctuary portfolio currently comprises 13 lodges and camps across Africa and four riverboats in Egypt, with a wave of other developments in the pipeline. In addition to the Moab retreat, A&K Sanctuary is in the process of upgrading lodges in Uganda and Botswana, developing a riverboat on the Peruvian Amazon and adding a lodge in Kenya's Amboseli region

The company said it's also planning to develop properties across Mexico as well as conducting "feasibility studies" in Australia and several markets across South America, including Bolivia.
