Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas will open a new luxury
property on the southeastern coast of Mauritius.
Scheduled to open in September, the Anantara Mauritius Resort
will be located near Blue Bay Marine Park, one of the island's premier
snorkeling and diving destinations.
The Anantara Mauritius will have 164 rooms and suites. Eight
luxury pool villas -- two with two bedrooms and six with four bedrooms -- will
be added in the first half of 2020.
Facilities at the
resort will include an all-day dining restaurant, private dining with a wine
cellar, a wellness-focused cafe, two bars, and a specialty grill called Sea.
Fire. Salt. that will offer courtyard and beachside dining. The resort will
also have a gym, Anantara Spa and kids' club.
