White Lodging will build and operate three hotels in Austin,
Texas, and all three will be in Marriott International’s portfolio.
The first project, a building that will house AC and
Autograph Collection hotels, is expected to open in 2019 near the University of
Texas campus. The Autograph Collection hotel will have 191 guestrooms, the AC
156.
Also in the works is a 615-room Marriott next to the Austin
Convention Center. The hotel will have 65,000 square feet of meeting space.
White Lodging’s other hotels in the city include the JW
Marriott Austin and Westin Austin Downtown.
