Blizzard Beach Water Park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando will reopen on Nov. 6.

At the same time, Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will close for refurbishment.

No changes to Blizzard Beach's attractions are expected but there will be new food options: s'mores and banana split churros at Arctic Expeditions, and chicken wings coated with honey sriracha or garlic parmesan at Warming Hut.

During the holidays, Santa will appear in the park wearing a tropical outfit. Special treats like peppermint shakes will be available.

Disney heats the water at the park in colder months.

Disney also launched a water park seasonal pass, which enables guests to visit as often as they want until May 24.

The pass is $79 plus tax. The seasonal pass enables guests to visit whichever of Disney's water parks is open. There are no blackout dates and parking is free.
